Every need is catered for - a real home from home just a much better view. Thanks for letting us bring our dog - she loves the beach so much. Hoping to return again soon.

Our accommodation this time was far superior to anything else we stayed in, every whim was catered for, TV for the olympic watchers, playstation for those missing their computers, music and videos. The equipment within the apartment was excellent. Thank you for a most wonderful, unforgetable week. We will return

Great to see that everthing is just as good if not better than when we were here last year.
A great week and very luck with the weather, kids in the sea, a bbq on the beach, and cooked breakfast on the balcony...then home to snow !!!!!
Great meeting John for the first time and listening to his stories of the history of the apartment, first time the kids were quiet all week !!!
My Mum and Dad and Sister and Husband rented the apartment next door, which made it excellent for sharing the 2 apartments (they do though prefer apartment 5)...
Ate in most nights had some wonderfull dinners....Jamie Oliver slow cooked shoulder of lamb...Delia Smiths Leek and Pot soup, Gordon Ramsay steak and chips (steak from Modbury Butchers excellent), Nigella Lawson cheesecake....and many more meals washed down with numerous bottles of wine and beer (if there had been a bottle bank not sure if it would all had fitted in.
Lunch at Royal Oak is as good as ever (hope the new owners do not change it)...Fish and Chips from the Bigbury store (opp Royal Oak) well worht trying, and the eggs are outstanding....took dozen home and were all eaten in a day.
The cream tea is still a lovely touch...but did struggle to fit it in.
There is no doubt this apartment has to be one of the best in the country.....wonderfull view....comfortable with everything you could ever want for a weeks holiday.
Sadly got to wait a whole year to return again..
John...hope you take my patio heater idea seriously....
Many thanks..

Weather Stormy and Sunny,,England at its best...lovely pubs...good beer...good food..
Wonderful walks....our favourite - to Earm-Mouth via Ringwood, Kingston and back along the superb coastal path.
Hope the little rock pippit won't miss us...
Can't wait till we return in 7 weeks, but sadly for us we have to stay next door to allow our Grandchildren to take over number 5 with its PS2....but we will have the Cream Tea !!!!!
Many thanks to John for all the effort he puts in to make the Apartment unique......

Apparently we were the first to use the online ordering service so lets be one of the first to use the online guest book.. The online order we placed was in our apartment on arrival just as ordered..Perfect. The apartment is as clean welcoming and relaxing as it always has been, they should give a week here on the NHS, its the best therapy i know..
Several great walks as usual from south milton sands via thurlestone golf course to the Sloop inn at bantham(new owners ,had a fab lunch) then across country to the Thurlstone Village Inn(shortish stop!) and then back to s.milton sands. well worth the effort..
Other walk must recommend( our favourite) across Chalborough Bay and along the cliffs ,all the way down to Aymer Cove and then inland to Ringmore and the wonderful Journeys End Inn, better hospitality and beer we have not had.
Also recommended The Dolphin at KIngston(mind how you drive through the pub!)..
A wonderful week cant wait to go back.
